Congratulations to Justin Baker! Justin received the Term 1 Challenge Coin for Honesty. Baker is someone you can always count on to be honest and straightforward. Whether I want to hear it or not, Baker does not beat around the bush. He is learning to balance his blunt honesty with kindness, but his authenticity is one of his greatest strengths. He stands up for others, including his teachers, and takes responsibility for his actions rather than making excuses or denying them. What may sometimes look like being hard-headed is really a student who stays true to himself and can be counted on to be real in any situation

**FCS Spotlight!**

Mrs. Eder’s FCS students have been working hard in the kitchen this term and creating some pretty amazing things along the way! One of the highlights has been cake decorating, where students put their creativity and skills to work.

We’re so glad to have Mrs. Eder join the MVHS family and love seeing the creativity, confidence, and delicious creations coming out of her classroom!

Keep up the great work, Ocelots!

🌟 Student Excellence Spotlight! 🌟

A huge shout-out to our MVHS students who participated in the Magic Valley Youth Leadership Summit at CSI!

We are proud of these students for stepping up, engaging in leadership opportunities, and representing Magic Valley High School with enthusiasm and excellence. Their willingness to learn, connect, and grow as leaders is something worth celebrating!

Magic Valley High School is excited to welcome new students and teachers to the 2026–27 school year! We started the year strong with our annual Back-to-School Night, where students made their way through the halls, met their teachers, and participated in fun educational activities to earn their first “Brag Tag.” The evening ended with pizza and a free pair of socks and shoes to kick off the new school year in style. A huge shout-out to the HCC Foundation for their generous contribution—they continue to keep our MVHS students’ feet comfy and stylish!

Dear TFSD Families and Staff,

In the wake of the Canyon West shooting on August 1, the City of Twin Falls is leading a community-wide effort to facilitate recovery and support our town.

As part of this initiative, the city has created a survey to better understand which supports and resources are most needed. As a community partner, the Twin Falls School District is sharing this survey and encourages all of our staff and families to take a few moments to complete it.

Survey Link: https://polco.us/s75ucp

We remain committed to partnering with the City of Twin Falls throughout this restorative process to ensure our students, staff, and families receive the care and resources they need.

Thank you for your participation and ongoing support of our community.

Sincerely,

Twin Falls School District Administration
