Lincoln Elementary School won the Idaho Heroic Championship on Prodigy in the month of February! This means that our school answered the most correct math questions across the state. It also means that our school will be competing in the national competition during May.

Mrs. Miller's kindergarteners were not impressed when she gave them all brown E's for their snack! They thought she was giving them brownies. Luckily, she happened to have those, too. Happy April Fools' Day!

Come to the April PTO Meeting.

The PARAprofessionals at Lincoln add so much sunshine to our days. They help the students and staff all of the time. Tomorrow is PARAproffessionl Appreciation Day. We are calling it, "A Day in PARAdise!" If you have a school appropriate Hawaiian shirt or skirt please wear them to school tomorrow. If you have a lei, you could wear it. Hopefully the sun will come out for this special day.

🎊Congratulations to Cynthia Perkins, Lincoln Elementary’s Classified Employee of the Month!
Named after her Nana, Cynthia strives to live in a way that would make her proud. That dedication shines through in her work as a paraeducator and playground aide, where she loves helping students grow and being a safe, supportive presence for them each day. Cynthia is inspired by growth, both her own and the growth she sees in others, which makes this work especially meaningful to her.❤️🌱
From the principal:
“I am proud to recognize Cynthia Perkins as our building's Classified Employee of the Month. She is incredibly reliable and a natural problem-solver, always stepping in wherever she is needed. More importantly, Cynthia has built meaningful relationships with our students and serves as a steady, caring presence every day. We are truly grateful for the impact she makes at Lincoln.”
💬 Give a shoutout to Cynthia! Comment with a thank-you or a story of how she’s made a difference at Lincoln.

Get ready to rock out the last 9 weeks of the year. Our administrators would like to remind you that school resumes tomorrow - March 30. We can't wait to see all of our Lions.

Mr. Miller, one of our first grade teachers, has been reading a special book aloud to his class. His daughter and AI wrote it. It is about visiting Papa's house. The book is about him and his grandson, who happens to be one of his students! What special memories for Mr. Miller, his family, and his students who all adore him.

Sharpen the Paw is always so much fun. Some of our students traveled to Disney (virtually). Some of our students painted rocks for the Dandelion Garden. Others played indoor games. No matter which activities were chosen, everyone had a great time!

Our Book Fair was a huge success! We were able to purchase 220 new books for our school library. Thank you families for supporting this special event and thank you Mrs. Emery for all of your hard work.

Our March Leaders of the Month truly rock!

The Staff would like to thank the PTO for organizing snacks this week for our teachers. It has been a real treat to find goodies at the end of the rainbow everyday. Thank you everyone who has sent in treats to share. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

C is for conference. This week is conference week. The PTO wants to support all of the extra hours that the Lincoln Staff will be putting in this week. This is a great opportunity to support the PTO. Please consider sending in snacks for the teachers to munch on between conferences. Drop off your contributions in the office on Monday (16th) or Tuesday (17th) or mark them PTO and send them to school with your child. Thanks in advance for all of the chewy, crunchy, contributions.
The PTO

Hats off to all of the creative people out there who had fun with our crazy hats and hair day. Miss T. let each of her music classes vote on which hat she should wear during their time together. We will wrap up the week with spooky, dark colors for Friday the 13th. Thanks Mr. Shawn for organizing such a spectacular spirit week. Thanks everyone for supporting our fun.

The PTO is sponsoring a fundraiser tonight (March 12) with the help of Panda Express. If you take the invitation that was sent home today (or the digital copy from here) to Panda Express tonight, 20% of the proceeds will be donated back to the PTO! Thank you PTO, families, and Panda Express for supporting our Lions! Enjoy your dinners.
March 12- Fundraiser

Keep your eyes open for the results of how your child did on today's spelling test. Now the real excitement will begin as we watch to see which students bring in the most donations for the Spell-A-Thon! Good luck everyone.

It was hard to decide who had more fun today, the staff or the students...

Thank you students, families, staff, and community.

Flora and Fauna day was lots of funna!

Fifth graders please consider attending the Instrument Petting Zoo at Robert Stuart. If you are thinking about playing an instrument next year, then make sure to read the attached flyer.
