I grew up in a family of educators in Laramie, Wyoming where my dad taught at the University of Wyoming and my mom had her Elementary Education degree. I received a Bachelor’s degree at UW in Fine Arts/Humanities and moved with my secondary educator husband to his first teaching job in Las Vegas. After living there for six years, we found our true home in Idaho. We have lived in Burley, American Falls and Blackfoot. Our four children, a son and three girls, kept me busy at home until we moved to Twin Falls when I started working for the school district. I have worked as a SPED paraprofessional, ELL teacher, guest teacher, Advanced Opportunities Coordinator and I am happily now the librarian here at Magic Valley! I enjoy reading and have wanted to work in a library since I was young. I love living in Twin Falls, walking the many trails nearby, reading on my backyard swing, going to church, playing bunco with my friends and spending time with my family.
